    Delmas at quarterback

From what I hear he did a great job with it last night. If he is that good then why doesn't Coach Robbins give the starting QB position to him and maybe WR to Cedric. From what I heard IMO Delmas deserves it.

I also heard something that he also put in Trey Garrison to confuse Clintwood. From the sounds of it it worked I believe. Maybe, just maybe, if he had Delmas at QB to begin with at the first of the season then maybe the Seymour game may not have had the same result and we may have beaten Breathitt and we may have also given an outstanding Burton team a much better game. But what's done is done.

Vikings you got this open week to work and become a way different team from the Seymour game to Norton like you did laast year. Good luck in the rest of the season.

From the sounds of it we just might see Clintwood again.

    Re: Delmas at quarterback

D-Law did a great job at QB since he hasn't done it since what, 8/9th grade?

i think he is much more efficient on running the ball on draws, options, etc.

in my personal opinion from watching him last night, he focused on all his receivers instead of just 1....

Clintwood got some really damaging news for their playoff hopes last night when Honaker beat Abingdon. It may be a tight race again for that 4th spot. PV is not locked in yet nor is GC. It's pretty much a 4 team race for 3 spots. Clintwood really needs to get a win against GC or Burton.

    Re: Delmas at quarterback

PV needs a win over GC and Appalachia. Those are the two games for PV left that are up in the air it seems like. II didn't hear anything on Honaker last night. Forgot about them.

What could happen if PV wins the rest of their games then they could fight for the number 2 spot with Honaker. Gate City could be at risk of losing to Clintwood, PV, Appy, and Burton. Clintwood could be at risk of losing to GC and Norton. PV could lose to GC and Appalachia.

Right now the playoffs look like

    1. Haysi
    2. PV/GC
    4. Honaker/Clintwood

PV, GC, Clintwood, and Honaker have a lot at stake right now.

    Re: Delmas at quarterback

Well, I think we all know, Cedric will be back at QB next game. I agree Delmas looked GREAT from the option. He's got great vision and field awareness. He's a little weak in the throwing department though, but did ok. I thought maybe Phil might put Garrison in for the pass plays, but instead put him in for short gains in the full house backfield.
Regardless if Cedric is back at QB next week or not, I hope they stick with the option some. Clintwood seemed to have a hard time picking it up, and was a solid 5 to 8 yard gain almost every time.

    Re: Delmas at quarterback

Lawson can help the team no matter where he is at. If he can get better at throwing, and Cedric could play receiver, that wouldn't hurt them at all. I think the more touches Lawson gets the better PV is.

What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
